A gift from a kind stranger
A year ago today, a man died. I never met him, but his death was a blessing to many. Not to his mourning family, & I’m truly sorry for their loss. But from their pain, came hope. He was an organ donor.
His final selfless gift saved the lives of several others, & improved the lives of so many more.
I beg you all to consider donating blood & becoming an organ/tissue donor. This gift costs absolutely nothing for you to give, but means everything to those that receive it.
All of my future hopes, dreams, & happiness, I owe to completely to him.
I received his liver, to replace mine, which I lost in my long fight with cancer. Here I am a year later. I’m healthy, cancer-free & looking forward to a long life.
